Southern Quarter is the first building in the world to be constructed from concrete that uses carbon reducing additives. We are using this new facility as the first test of this revolutionary product, making Southern Quarters leaders for change. Pioneering technologies: Concretene is a graphene based state-of-the-art nano platelet additive that is being used. It will be monitored for performance by the designers, Nationwide Engineering Group working with Manchester University and the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre.
