The NFC All Valley No Gi JJ Championship on Saturday, October 17 is the NFC's first no gi tournament after hosting two gi tournaments.

There will be a Teen (15 and below), Beginner (white belt), Intermediate (blue/white belt), Advanced (purple/blue/white), Masters (36+, any belt), and Pro Division.

You can choose to move up in a division if you’d like, but cannot move down (i.e. a white belt can do the purple belt division for a higher prize payout, but a purple belt cannot do the white belt division). You may enter more than one division if you’d like to.

Any one may enter the pro division. All ADCC submissions are permitted.

The other divisions will be restricted to IBJJF legal subs and techniques based upon their division's belt level. The Masters division will be based off IBJJF black belt level subs.

The men's divisions will be divided into two weight classes (175 & below and above 175). There will only be one weight class for the teen's, women's divisions and the Masters division.

First place for each pro division will become the highest paid grappler in the history of the NFC with a $2,000 pay day!

*** Teenager (15 & Below) - Winner prize $150  

Entry fee is $100 per competitor until October 4. 
$125 from October 5 - October 11. 
$150 from October 12 - October 16 at 1 pm (registration ends). 

LOCATION
Elite Edge is located at 3550 Broad Street, Chamblee, GA 30341. Doors open at 3 pm and event begins at 4 pm.

TICKETS
Tickets can be purchased both online and at the door. Link will be purchased here soon.

TIME LIMITS
Time will be based upon the competitor's division.

Pro: The matches will be one 6 minute round until the semifinals. Then we will do NFC JJ superfight format with 5 minute rounds.
Masters: The matches will be one 5 minute round until the semifinals. Then we will do NFC JJ superfight format with 4 minute rounds.
Advanced: The matches will be one 6 minute round until the semifinals. Then we will do NFC JJ superfight format with 4 minute rounds.
Intermediate: The matches will be one 5 minute round until the semifinals. Then we will do NFC JJ superfight format with 3 minute rounds.
Beginner and Teen: The matches will be one 4 minute round until the semifinals. Then we will do NFC JJ superfight format with 2 minute rounds.

RULES
All matches will follow the same rules and scoring as NFC JJ competitions except there will only be one referee per match. For the finals we will have 3 referees.

ARRIVAL TIMES FOR COMPETITORS & WEIGHINS
Please arrive to Elite Edge at 2:30 pm. Once you arrive, get in your no gi outfit and we'll have you weighin. Once you make weight, you don’t need to weighin again for future rounds if you win. We have the mandatory fighters' rules meeting at 3 pm and then warmup time and event begins promptly at 4 pm.

REGISTRATIONS
Entry fee is $100 per competitor until October 4. 
$125 from October 5 - October 11. 
$150 from October 12 - October 16 at 1 pm (registration ends).
No refunds available if you get injured, fake an injury, back out or miss weight. 

MATS
We will have two mats running at a time for the earlier rounds. For the semifinals and finals it will be reduced to one mat.

FOOD & DRINK
There will be food and drinks available throughout the day at the venue. 

WHAT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WILL THE NFC BE USING FOR THIS EVENT?
We will be using all of the safety measures that are in place at other business’ at the time of the event. Plus temperature check of all competitors, trainers, fans and staff. 

We'll also have Covid-19 antibody fast result finger prick testing on site for everyone at only $60 with results in 10 minutes. 

REAL TIME SCHEDULE
*We are utilizing Smoothcomp registration for this event. This means during the tournament you'll be able to see the live updated schedule for both mats and see when you'll be competing. During the event, you will be able to access this information from your mobile device.
