Thank you to previous supporters of our event. We hope to grow each year. Please be patient with us this year as we transition to Smoothcomp. We believe it to be beneficial to all future ITF competitions. Beneficial to both competitors and organizers as it will be a huge time saver.

If you are an instructor, please set up your Academy name so you students can be registered under your school. Remember Academy is your dojang/school name and Affliation is your AA (OTFA, ITF USA, ATFI, NTA...). AA's have not signed up for Smoothcomp yet this year.

REGISTRATION FEE: $50 USD (same for 1 or 2 events)

LATE FEE: $65 USD (same for 1 or 2 events)

SPECTATOR FEE: FREE

SEMINAR FEE: $30 (if participating in competition, otherwise seminar fee is $50)

This year's seminar features Master Thierry Meyour, the head coach from Finland. In addition to the training, there will be a small session on injury prevention. The seminar will take place at Warrior Code Taekwon-Do Academy on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 18th from 9:30AM-1:00PM.

The following participants are eligible for a discount:

- USA Team Member for World Championships in Germany 2019 (from selections in Orlando - Oct 2018) 

- OTFA Members (Original Taekwon-Do Federation America)

- Students of Warrior Code Taekwon-Do Academy

RULES

PATTERNS (Tuls)

All pattern divisions will judged according to the ITF rules, however, in the spirit of competition; we will be running each category in a "double elimination" style tournament (for categories with 5 or more competitors). This means you are not eliminated from the competition until you have attained two (2) match losses. For categories of 4 or less, it will be a pool/round robin style. Each competitor will compete against everyone else in the category. 

Each round will feature two competitors facing off, performing the pattern of their level (or of one level below). The winner will be determined by majority vote of the judges.

The winners of each patterns match will be selected based on Technical Correctness, Power, Sinewave, Rhythm (the flow), Correct Breathing and Competitor Attitude (etiquette)!

SPARRING (Matsogi)

All sparring divisions will judged according to the ITF rules, also under the style of "double elimination" style (for categories with 5 or more competitors). This means you are not eliminated from the competition until you have attained two (2) match losses. For categories of 4 or less, it will be a pool/round robin style. Each competitor will compete against everyone else in the category.

Each round will feature two competitors facing off. Black belt categories will be 2 rounds of 2 minutes and color belts will be 1 round of 2 minutes per match. The winner will be decided by majority vote of the judges based on the number of points scored throughout the match.

The point system is as follows:

1-point for any punch to the body or head

2-points for any kick to the body

3-points for any kick to the head
