RULES

There will not be any briefing of the rules at the tournament, so make sure you read up on them. International BJJ rules from International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation will apply, you can find them at www.ibjjf.org/rules

WEIGHT CLASSES

All athletes, regardless of age, are to weigh in right before their first fight of the day. You weigh in with the gi/kimono/uniform on.

For Adults & Masters international weight classes applies. For Kids and Juveniles we are using the weight classes defined by the Hungarian Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation.

Mixed Classes

We aim to offer each athlete a chance to fight, so we might have to combine some classes if there are too few participants. We strive to get at least three (3) athletes per class, but sometimes only two (2) is possible. The mixing of classes will primarily be based on the athlete's weight and secondarily their age. For kids we might also have to mix belt colours.

OPEN CLASSES

To qualify for participation in Open Class the following critera must be met:

- You must be at least 18 years old.

- You must first have fought in your own weight class.

- You are only allowed to participate in the same belt color category for Open Class as you participated in your own weight class.

GI - Kids, Adult, Masters, Ladies

No Gi - Beginner, Advanced, Ladies

Age groups and weight list for kids and juniors:

 7,8,9 years old     

Weight:  27 kg, 30 kg, 33 kg, 37 kg, +42 kg

10,11,12 years old             

Weight:  33 kg, 37 kg, 41 kg, 45 kg, 50 kg, +50 kg

13,14,15 years old             

Weight:  46 kg, 51 kg, 56 kg, 60 kg, 64 kg, 68 kg, 74 kg, +74 kg

16,17 years old                      

Weight:  64 kg, 70 kg, 76 kg, 82 kg, +82 kg

Registration Fee for kids and juniors 3000 Ft/10 euro, adult Gi 9.000 Ft/30 euro/Category and No Gi divisions 9.000 Ft/30 euro/Category
