About Aloha CJJF Academy
Aloha CJJF Academy Professor Myron Kamihara decided to bring the Caveirinha style of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to Round Rock, Texas in 2018 by opening up Aloha CJJF Academy. “Aloha” represents the spirit of Myron’s home state of Hawaii. It further represents the academy philosophy of Family; Love; and Respect. “CJJF” stands for Caveirinha Jiu-Jitsu Family Association. Professor Myron’s Jiu-Jitsu philosophy regardless of whether you are training for self-defense, anti-bullying, and/or competition is rooted in sound fundamentals. He believes that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has specific movements that need to be developed through repetition. Professor Myron also believes that technique and movement must be practiced under realistic conditions. This can be accomplished by controlled sparring.
