NQ Regional Judo Competition I

Open to all eligible members. This is also an ideal opportunity for less experienced players to compete against people from other clubs in their own weight and age categories to gain valuable competition knowledge and competence.

Mat Areas

2 mats (6x6) 

All divisions including no limit, veterans, and Mons

Weigh-in Opening and Closing Times

Weigh-in on the day will be open from 8:00 am.

Closing times for weigh-ins on Saturday 18th of March will be as follows:

MonStars:  8:30am close. 
Junior Boys and Girls: 8:30 am close.
Senior Boys and Girls: 9:00 am close
Cadets and Juniors: 10:00 am close
Senior Men & Women and Veterans: 10:30 am close.

First match at 10:00am

Changes to weight divisions will be allowed at the time of weigh-in. If you are unable to weigh-in at this time please contact the Event Administrator via x[email protected] prior to the event.

Gi Requirements

All players competing in the North Queensland Regional Competition must as a minimum wear a white judogi.

Notes

As per the Judo Queensland Sporting Code, mouth guards are permitted provided they are properly fitted by a dentist.

Unfitted mouth guards shall not be permitted.

The player must provide documentation prior to the competition to the Event Director and the player must also notify the mat Referee that they have a mouth guard each time they enters the mat to compete.

Early Bird Entry $35 + $15 per extra division

After Thursday the 16th of March $45 + $20 per extra division
