Okanagan Absolute

We are back with the start of our 2024 schedule. The Okanagan Absolute will be our first event of the year and we are looking forward to a very exciting, action packed day.

Thank you for considering us for your next competition. We will have certified referees at all our events to provide the best experience possible for our competitors. Come on out to Kelowna and enjoy an amazing weekend!

REFUND POLICY
We have the best refund policy. Get 100% refund for any reason until February 5th, 2024. No refunds for any reason after this date. So register early as we will be capping this event and it will fill up. In the past we have let people register late but please understand we will not do that this time for any reason.

We are taking a short break from the traditional format. Harrison and Colton have prior commitments leading up to this event. Instead we will run Open weight division for each belt. (White belt - Black belt) We also have adult no-gi divisions (white-black belt)

We have hotel deals that we are working on currently and we will update this information when it becomes available to us.

There is a grocery store and coffee shop located in the mall where the venue is located for your convenience.

On tournament Saturday we will be following the IBJJF rules set. Please visit IBJJF.org/rules and get familiar with rules that will pertain to your division.

PLEASE NOTE

WE HAVE ADJUSTED THE WEIGHT DIVISIONS SLIGHTLY TO ENSURE BIGGER DIVISIONS. THE BIGGEST CHANGE IS THE KIDS GI DIVISIONS WILL BE BOYS AND GIRLS TOGETHER

WE ALSO ADDED NO GI ADULT DIVISIONS!

TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE FEBRURARY 6TH AT 11:00pm. Late registrations will not be accepted.

ALL COMPETITORS MUST BE ON WEIGHT OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. NO EXCEPTIONS!

It is your responsibility to weigh your child in WITH A GI ON and register them in the correct division (please do not guess your child's weight). Due to safety reasons for the children, their weight must be accurate with the gi.

COMPETITORS WHO DO NOT MAKE WEIGHT WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. Weigh is station will be open between 3:00pm and 5:00pm Friday February 9THth 2024

Youth Divisions will have a 2 lb allowance

Adult Divisions will have a 1 lb allowance

This is a Gi and NOGI tournament.

Weigh in stations open:

Kids 8:00am (Saturday)

Adults: 10:30am (Saturday)

YOU WILL BE ALSO BE ABLE TO WEIGH IN BETWEEN 3:00pm-5:00pm FRIDAY NIGHT Feb 9th 24

Kids Divisions:

-IBJJF Rules and match length times

-Two matches guaranteed

-Athletes must weigh in in the Gi and Belt

-Kids weigh in at 8:00am

-All kids should be weighed in and ready to compete by 9:00am

-2lb allowance with Gi and belt on (strictly reinforced)

-Reg $80 (Gi and NoGi add $30)
