TMIYC  - TAP ME IF YOU CAN (BJJ Gi & NoGi Tournament)

Location: Fightschool Hannover, Vahrenwalder Str. 211, 30165 Hannover

Doors Open @ 8:00 am. | Event Starts @ 9:30 am.

Brackets Format: On this edition there will be an opportunity for everyone to try out their skills during the competition. All competitors will be guaranteed to fight at least 2 fights.

2 Competitors: Best out of three

3 Competitors: Round Robin

4-7 Competitors: Round Robin 

8+ Competitors: Double elimination bracket (with a bronze fight)

We do not take late registrations or registrations at the event!

Early Bird Registration 1 Divisions – (Register before September 1 at 11:59pm) 40,-€

Late Registration 1 Divisions – (Register before Srptember 8 at 11:59pm) 50,-€

There is a discounted price package for registration in NO GI and GI divisions*

*Kindly note that with this package it is not possible to ask for a partial refund (for only one division)

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF COMPETITORS

We will have a maximum of 350 competitors.

WEIGH-INS

Competition starts on all mats at 9:30 am.

All competitors have to weigh-in at least 1 hour before your bracket starts.*

*Athletes competing in both divisions may check the weight only once.

*Weigh-in without GI

Please bring your ID to the weigh-in!

EVERY COMPETITOR has to check in at the weigh-in, to verify your presence.

DIVISIONS

14 -17 years Female and Male - Youth Divisions

18 years and above Female and Male - Adult Divisions

Above 30 years Female and Male - Master 1 Division*

Above 36 years Female and Male - Master 2 Division*

*at any time may compete in the adult divisions 

MATCH DURATION 

4 minutes - Female and Male Youth

5 minutes - Female and Male Adult/Master

DIVISION MERGERS

After deadline, competitors who do not have anyone in their division group may be merged with another division. All athletes who remain solo in their divisions once brackets are released means had no default merges available to them, and therefore there are no matches available for that competitor. They will receive a full refund .

Youth: Gi / NOGI / men’s: White/Blue/Purple  

-50kg, -58kg, -66kg, -74kg, -82kg, -90kg

Youth Gi / NOGI / women’s: White/Blue/Purple

-48kg, -56kg, -64kg, -72kg, -80kg

Adult/Master Gi / NOGI / men’s: White/Blue/Purple/Brown/Black

-56kg, -62kg, -69kg, -77kg, -85kg, -94kg, -120kg

Adult/Master Gi / NOGI / women’s: White/Blue/Purple/Brown/Black

-49kg, -56kg, -64kg, -72kg, -95kg

ABSOLUTE DIVISIONS

Gi and NoGi Absolute divisions are combined skill level and use Brown/Black rules during their matches.

The Absolutes will be a single knock-out system.

Absolute division winners will win a championship belt. This award is unrivaled in quality and appearance.

FIGHT TIME

Stay updated before and during the tournament on Smoothcomp, follow the live brackets on the screens or on your phone. It is your own responsibility to show up on time at the Warming Up Area. Find out your dynamic starting time.
