About the Irish Open-
The Irish Open is Ireland's longest running Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament, and has grown year on year to become a centrepiece event for Irish Jiu Jitsu. Each year the tournament offers a variety of prizes for athletes, and this year we are offering the winners of the absolute divisions in each belt colour a prize package to Lisbon, Portugal, for the 2020 European Championships. That's a team of 16 athletes travelling to Lisbon each year having won the Irish Open.
About the Irish Kids Open-
The Irish Kids Open has been running for the past 5 years, and each year we've seen an increase in both the number of young athletes participating, and in the range of experience and ages we can offer divisions in as a result of this growth. In 2019, we are offering the grapplers of the future a chance to be apart of the Irish Open weekend. The entry is open to white belts and upwards from 4 years of age to 15 years.
