October 20th is an opportunity to compete under a unique setting. Round robin, no time limit with cash prizes.
Submission only championships presents a competition opportunity to test your submission skills in a no time limit format.
Submission only championships is a submission only competition with a no time limit format for adults and 5 minute time limits for children and teens. Every division is round robin excluding the absolute which is single elimination.
The SOC uses the IBJJF format for allowed submissions.
Brackets are limited to 5 competitors each getting 4 matches, if there is more than one bracket the winners from both brackets are brought together for a finals match. Normal divisions are round robin with the absolute division being single elimination.
All adult matches are no time limit with cash prizes open divisions only.
You no longer must register for your weight division to access the open weight cash prizes divisions.
Cash prizes for Men and womens absolute divisions are Blue Belt $250, Purple belt $350, Brown $750 and Black belt $1000.
Children's matches are limited to 5 minutes with a win or draw format.
Engraved wooden swords are only given out to children who win GI and NOGI, if you share the first place in either GI or NOGI you will not receive a sword. Please inform your young competitors before the competition as we do not want to disappoint our competitors on the podium.
Engraved wooden swords will now be awarded to the winners of the adult absolute divisions.
Children's divisions costs are early birds at $30 for one division and $50 for two, normal is $35 for one, $60 for two and later registration one division is $45 and $80 for both.
Adults early birds are $45, normal $55 and later registration $65, absolute is priced the same way.
Cash prizes for the absolute divisions are subject to change in relation to number of competitors in each division. Skill divisions maybe mixed to make up a larger division for competitors to make the most of their competition day and the mixed divisions cash prize. Purple to black maybe mixed with competitors competing under black belt rules.
Children's divisions are limited to 5 minutes in a submission or draw format in GI and NOGI.
Adult divisions are all no time limit and are all in NOGI. For adults there are no GI divisions.
Maximum prizes for Open divisions of Blue belt are $250, Purple Belt $500, Brown Belt $750 and Black Belt are $1000. Please keep in mind that prize money is based on Numbers taking part.
