ROGUE Grappling 6 - FALL BRAWL

ROGUE Grappling returns with their second event in Season 2, FALL BRAWL - a NoGi event, one day only from Amherst, Nova Scotia. We're working on rounding those Season 2 invitationals, get out and work on earning yours & your squads' spot.

NoGi Beginner - less than 1 years experience in BJJ and/or submission grappling.
NoGi Intermediate - 1 to 3 years experience in BJJ and/or submission grappling.
NoGi Advanced - 3+ years experience in BJJ and/or submission grappling.


Weight DivisionsMen < 145, 146 - 160, 161 - 175, 176 - 190, 191 -205, 206+
Women < 130, 131 - 145, 146 - 160, 161 - 175, 176+

Note: Divisions may be combined, amended or created depending on registration.

Rules (NoGi)

Kids divisions, Under 9 years old - no submissions permitted; points only
Kids divisions, 10 - 12 years old - No standing guillotines, omoplatas, pulling the head in a triangle or submissions below the waist
Kids and Youth divisions, 13 - 17 years old - Nothing below the wait, no cranking or reaping
Adult, Beginner - Nothing below the waist except straight ankle lock
Adult, Intermediate - Knee bar, Toe hold, Straight ankle and Wrist lock permitted
Adult, Advanced - All IBJJF Black Belt legal submissions except heel hooks; knee reaping is permitted (ie. a position like 4/11 will not result in a stoppage or DQ)

No jumping guard. No slams. No scissor takedown from standing.
In the case of draw, matches will be decided by official's decision.

In the event of a Round Robin bracket with a tie, the tie breaker will be decided by victories by submissions, followed by fastest submission, followed by point spread, followed by ref's decision.

Please note - the Absolute bracket is not open to Beginner-level competitors.

Match LengthKids and Youth - 3 minutes
Adults - 5 minutes
Absolute - 5 minutes

Kids divisions will compete first, followed by Adult advanced divisions.

Registration, Pricing and Weigh InsWeigh ins will be done in your competition clothing (Gi and/or NoGi). Failure to make weight could result in a disqualification without refund. Please note that divisions may be combined or created depending on registrants at any given weight division or experience level. Divisions will be grouped together as close as possible by weight and experience level and are dependent on registrations.

Early Registration starts September 5th at midnight and continues through October 13th @ midnight.

Late Registration starts October 14th @ 00h01 and continues through October 16th @ 18h59.

Weigh Ins will run from 8h30 through 10h.  

Kids and Youth, Early Registration - $40
Kids and Youth, late registration - $50
Adults, Early Registration - $70 
Adults, Late Registration - $85
Absolute Only - $30
Absolute, if competing in another division - $10 

To receive the discounted pricing you must have the divisions you want to compete in in your cart at the time of checkout.

Refund PolicyWe will extend a 100% refund for cancellations requested on or before October 13th at midnight and a 75% refund for cancellations received after then but before October 15th @ 18h59.
