SSWL 5

SSWL is an annual league that in 2020 has 5 sub-competitions around Sweden that ends with a league final at the end of the year, where we hand out SEK 63,000 in prize money to the finalists!

Participation per competition costs SEK 200 for adults and SEK 100 for children and juniors.

Each sub-competition is conducted in a pool format, where all participants meet each other.

With a large number of participants in a weight class, it is divided into several pools, where the winners in each pool get the opportunity to meet in a final pool / final match for the opportunity to pick up extra points.

At the end of the year, it's time for SSWL's League final, where the two highest ranked in each weight class in the advanced and advanced classes meet in a 10 min superfight.

Prize money in the league final:

Winner Advanced: SEK 5,000

Winner Continuer: SEK 2,000

The final has a setting that is more reminiscent of a gala than a regular SW competition, where there is only one mat with one superfight at a time.

This, together with the prize money at stake, makes the competition something quite exceptional.

If there are too few registered in a class, we first combine experience classes and then weight classes.

However, the results in combined matches do not count for league points. In the advanced and advanced classes, these training matches take place after all official matches have ended.

Location: Torvalla Training Hall, Dalarövägen 70, 136 45 Handen

Weigh-in: Start 09.00. Competitors need to be prepared for continuous weigh-in and health check due to the maximum number in the room. More information about weighing in and more detailed times will be emailed out in advance when the brackets are made. There is a maximum ceiling of 50 people in the hall. Breaks and several times for weigh-ins will be scheduled to enable the implementation of the competition.
