ATTENDANCE INFORMATION SAFETY PROTOCOLS

Under current government regulations, participants of sporting events must be fully vaccinated (plus 14 days).

Covid screening required prior to arrival at Gym Facility. 

Proof of full vaccinations & ID is required to enter Gym Centre by Competitors/Coaches/Parents & Visitors who are 12 years of age and older.

Every athlete is eligible to bring a Parent or Adult(+18 ONLY). They must enter the venue with the competitor. 

No other spectators will be allowed. 

Competitors can only enter the venue 2 hours prior before they are competing. 

To maintain social distance guidelines, there will be one entrance and one exit.

Any signs of symptoms or high temperature, please remain at home and contact your healthcare provider. 

If you are currently sick or have been exposed to someone that has tested positive for COVID- 19, please stay home and contact your healthcare provider.

All equipments will be properly sanitized prior to and during the event throughout the day. All mats areas will also be cleaned regularly.

Referees, staff and volunteers will be wearing masks at all times. 

Masks will be required to be worn inside the building at all times.

Masks will be permitted to be removed only for the competitors  during their matches.

 Hand sanitizer will be made available at all times at multiple stations throughout the venue.

In the occurrence that an athlete cannot make weight, he/she should contact us before the registration MODIFICATION/CORRECTION deadline and a full refund is Wednesday Nov.17th 2021 at 6 PM On the day of the tournament, we will no longer accept registration corrections, athletes who fail to make weight will be disqualified with no refund.

If payment is not made before the cutoff date and time, unfortunately, you will not be able to compete. Payments will not be accepted during the event.

WEIGH-INS

Weigh-ins will take place on day of the event. Competitors will weigh-in without the GI on. There is a 2 pound over allowance. Competitors are expected to check-in, weigh-in, and be warmed up and ready to compete 1 hour prior to their scheduled division.

(NEW)Youth Division 5-17  registration & Weigh-Ins Start time  7:30-8:00am

Adult GI Division registration and Weigh-Ins Start time at 10:00am

Adult No Gi Division Registration and Weigh-Ins Start at 11:00am

Adult Weigh-ins will start right after The Youth Divisions are completed the weigh-in process around 10:00 and will continue all day.

Please keep in mind that Competitors MUST to checked-in, weight-in, be warmed-up and ready to compete 1 hour PRIOR to their scheduled division.

It is the athlete's responsibility to make weight and make sure they are registered in the correct division. If an athlete cannot make weight, they must contact us as soon as possible.

The day of the tournament, If the athlete fails to make weight they will be disqualified from the tournament, and unfortunately, no refund will be given.

ATTENDANCE INFORMATION

Due to day to day changing situations, we are evaluating  the local Public Health orders in regards to contact sports.

In the case of a forced event cancellation, all athletes registration fees will be automatically refunded.

All competitors must have valid registration with the Ontario Grappling Association (OGA) in order to compete. The OGA will be present at the tournament. The registration fee is $20.00 and is valid for one year, this entitles you to participate in any OGA tournament.

Competitors, please ensure you have registered with and PAID the OGA registration fee before the tournament, as it could create a significant delay.
