Samurai Slam Judo

Registration Deadline: 11/3/2021 (Wednesday) Register online only.  By using the Smooth Comp interface, all matches will be scheduled and run through an automated bracketing and scoring system.  Coaches are encouraged to build a free academy profile.  Players will also make a free profile and add their academy.  American Judo foundation will be using this platform to register for future Samurai Slam tournaments, and we hope it will save us all time and improve the efficiency of our events.

Cost: $60/division, $20 additional divisions (Max 3 divisions) Exhibition matches available after official matches.  ($50 early registration by 10/27, $60 standard registration, $80 late registration after 11/3)

• 6-8PM Setup Venue (Volunteers Needed, signup sheet)

SATURDAY

• 8-9AM Check/Weigh-Ins

• 9AM Junior Player's Meeting (No Check-Ins after 9AM)

• 10AM Opening Ceremony/Junior Competition Starts

• 11AM-12PM Cadet, Senior, Veterans Check/Weigh-Ins

• 12PM Senior Players Meeting

• 1-4PM Cadet, Senior, Veterans Competition Starts

• 4-6PM Adult Awards and Takedown (approx)

Family Self Defense SEMINAR 11AM-1PM on Sunday, November 7th (Charleston Self Defense Academy)    This seminar is OPEN to ALL and taught by internationally acclaimed Krav Maga instructor, Marcus Torgerson.      

$20 donation requested.  All proceeds will be given to local veterans groups, food donations also welcome for the Thankgiving holiday.
