PEAK GRAPPLING SUMMER SLAM 2022 invites all youth/ juvenile, boys and girls to participate in this Gi/ Nogi event.

• Youth / juvenile tournament with a double round elimination.

• We will be following the IBJJF rules and regulations.  

• Door opens for competitor weigh in at 8:00 am.

• Competition starts at 9:00am.


• All athletes will be fed by our partners/ sponsors.  This event will be covered by Villages       Pizza and Freeyumms snacks.  For more information on our sponsors, add us on Instagram     @PEAKGRAPPLING.

• A KINGZ KIMONOS gi will be given out to a registered "early bird" athlete, which will be     drawn as soon as the early bird registration fee closes on May 15th 2022.  Winner/s chosen for this draw prize have one week (7 days), to claim prize.  Our admin will reach out to the winner/s.

• EVERY GYM MAY BRING 2 COACHES WHO WON'T PAY FOR THE TICKETS. PLEASE EMAIL us upon registration.  Failure to register the coaches name upon registration will result in paid entry.

• Every child under 16 will have the right for 1 adult to keep them company.  One parent may accompany up to two children. NAME OF THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN ACCOMPANYING THE CHILD MUST BE GIVEN AT REGISTRATION OR TICKET WILL HAVE TO BE BOUGHT!

• Please present yourself at the gi check & weigh-in area, prepared to compete, no more than 90 minutes before your call time and no less than 75. Call times continually update live on the Smoothcomp website AND ARE DYNAMIC. 

• You are responsible for keeping track of your call time, keeping in mind you may be called early.

***Where your chosen category cannot be accommodated, you will be moved to the next most suitable available category.  For, Junior & Juveniles, this may mean moving up/ down an age group, up a weight or in some circumstances, merging Male and Female categories into a mixed category***

• All the competitors must wear uniform according to IBJJF guidelines.

• ALL kids are allowed to wear rash guards for this competition.

• Submissions will be allowed in all age groups/ brackets.  Athletes must comply with IBJJF kids rules.

• 1st, 2nd and 3rd place athletes will receive a hand crafted medallion, manufactured by our platinum sponsor Protoshop Inc.  Lost or unclaimed medals will NOT

be mailed out to athletes.  It is your responsibility to claim and place your medals in a safe place.

• We have a special "Guard Passing Challenge" at this event.  A prize will be given to the athletes that can transition their way around their opponents, collecting as many points as they can.  We combine both of your match points for a final total to determine who the winner is.  This challenge is brought to you by Protoshop Inc. and INDIGO KIDS.
