The Holy City Sub-Series Kids and Teens

The Holy City Sub-Series Kids and Teens event is a youth division-only Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament held at The Citadel Military College in Charleston, SC on January 18th, 2020. Open to youth BJJ practitioners of all skill levels ages 4 to 17 years old! Come out and be a part of the most efficient tournament series in the Southeast!

*Youth divisions can/will be mixed male/female unless a division has enough male and female competitors to make two separate divisions.

**Divisions with 2 competitors will follow a 'Best of 3' bracketing format in order to provide more matches and a fair shot at Gold. Divisions with 3 or more competitors will follow the standard single elimination format WITH a fight for Bronze.

***This is an ONLINE-REGISTRATION ONLY event. ALL registrations must be in by January 15th. All brackets will be posted before the event's start date.

Depending on the event turnout, Southeastern Grappling Association reserves the right to reasonably combine divisions. In the event there is no suitable combination available for the competitor, they will be notified and their registration refunded.

This event follows the standard IBJJF scoring and point system. This is NOT a submission-only event. Points are as follows:

Takedown= 2pts

Sweep= 2pts

Knee on Belly= 2pts

Guard Pass= 3pts

Back Take= 4pts

Mount= 4pts
