The Battle of the Blues will have brackets for both men and women.

For the men there will be two brackets. One bracket is absolute gi 175 lbs & below. The other bracket is absolute gi over 175 lbs.

For the women there will be one absolute gi bracket.

Winners of each bracket will receive $500 and a trophy. Each entry receives two tickets and an event shirt.

LOCATION
Elite Edge is located at 3550 Broad Street, Chamblee, GA 30341. Doors open at 3 pm and event begins at 4 pm.

RULES
All matches will follow the same rules as NFC JJ competitions except there will only be one referee per match. For the finals we will have 3 referees. Early rounds will be 2 minutes per round. The semifinals and finals will be 3 minutes per round.

ARRIVAL TIMES FOR COMPETITORS
Please arrive to Elite Edge at 2:30 pm. Once you arrive, get in your gi and we'll let you weighin (note that we only need to weigh in the men competing under 175 lbs. Others do not need to weigh in). Once you make weight, you don’t need to weighin again for future rounds if you win. We have the mandatory fighters' rules meeting at 3 pm and then warmup time and event begins promptly at 4 pm.

REGISTRATIONS
Registrations are first come first in.
Registration prices are:
$50: Now until June 14 (includes free event shirt & 2 free tickets)
$85: June 15 - June 21 (includes free event shirt)
June 21 at midnight: Registration ends
No refunds available if you get injured, fake an injury, back out or miss weight. 

MATS
We will have two mats running at a time for the earlier rounds. For the semifinals and finals it will be determined later how many mats we have running at a time.

FOOD & DRINK
There will be food and drinks available throughout the day at the venue.

WHAT IF COVID 19 GETS WORSE AND THE EVENT IS CANCELLED?
If the event is cancelled, we will refund 100% of the money to competitors.

WHAT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WILL THE NFC BE USING FOR THIS EVENT?
We will be using all of the safety measures that are in place at other business’ at the time of the event. Plus regular cleaning of the mats between each match. And constant cleaning of the warmup mats.

REAL TIME SCHEDULE
*We are utilizing SmoothComp registration for this event. This means during the tournament you'll be able to see the live updated schedule for both mats and see when you'll be competing. A real-time schedule by bracket and real-time schedule by match order will be featured on large TV monitors at the event allowing you access to the most up-to-date information available. During the event, you will be able to access this information from your mobile device.
