Qualifier Prize Information

Your chance to compete to win a return trip to the 2022 IBJJF NoGi World Championships in Anaheim, California to represent Australian Girls In Gi on the world stage!

The travel package will be awarded to the winner of each Qualifier Tournament division. Two travel packages total. One prize per competition: Melbourne September 11th 2022, Sydney October 23rd 2022.

Melbourne qualifier division, Light Open Weight (one prize): 65kg and under 

Sydney qualifier division, Heavy Open Weight (one prize): 65kg and over

Competitors weighing less than 65kg are permitted to enter the heavy open division.

A minimum of 12 entries per qualifier division are required to award the prize. If there are less than 12 entrants, the prize will not be awarded.

Participants are allowed to buy multiple entries for the qualifier divisions to ensure minimum entry requirements. No maximum.

Non-participants are allowed to buy entries for the qualifier divisions to 'sponsor' the division and ensure that the prize is awarded. Select 'Sponsored Entry' at time of registration. These entries will count toward the 12 entrant minimum. 

Competitors must be current members of Australian Girls in Gi's forum, 18+, have a valid passport and organise their own US visa, travel insurance, accommodation and transfers.

The travel package is to the value of $1500AUD and must be used to purchase a return airfare to Los Angeles, California and entry to IBJJF NOGI World Championship (to the value of $1500AUD).

The travel package will not exceed $1500AUD.

The travel package will not be awarded in cash or bank transfer, or any other payment form, and is not redeemable for any other value. The travel package will be awarded by booking of airfare and competition entry via the competition organiser. Any monies over and above the allotted travel package is to be covered by the nominated ticket holder.
