Holy City Sub-Series

*Divisions with 3 or less competitors will follow a 'Best of 3' bracketing format in order to provide more matches and a fair shot at Gold. Divisions with 4 or more competitors will follow the standard single elimination format WITH a fight for Bronze.

**This is an ONLINE-REGISTRATION ONLY event. ALL registrations must be in by September 13th. All brackets will be posted before the event's start date.**

Depending on the event turnout, Southeastern Grappling Association reserves the right to reasonably combine divisions. In the event there is no suitable combination available for your division, you will be notified and your registration refunded.

This event follows the standard IBJJF scoring and point system. This is NOT a submission-only event. Points are as follows:

Takedown= 2pts

Sweep= 2pts

Knee on Belly= 2pts

Guard Pass= 3pts

Back Take= 4pts

Mount= 4pts

**We allow more techniques/submissions per belt and experience level than IBJJF and is up to the competitor to read and understand the allowable techniques chart found on our website under the Rules section.**

It's finally here! The Holy City Sub-Series, Southeastern Grappling Association's first event being held in Charleston, SC! This series caters to Adult, Master and Executive divisions ONLY. Medals will be awarded to all First, Second and Third place winners as well as division "Champion" status that will be carried over to each subsequent event in the series!
