RGV Pro 2021 Update:

-Tournament starts at 9am with Kids and Teens. Adult male and female divisions will start at approximately 1pm. Please check your start time for your first match.

-Competitors are kindly asked to show up 1 hour prior to their first match, and then head out soon after they've completed all matches. This is to minimize the amount of people inside the venue. 2 coaches per gym.

-No spectator fee. All spectators are kindly asked to come in, watch your loved one compete, and head out soon after. This is to minimize the amount of people inside the venue.

-Everyone must wear a mask, except for competitors who are actively competing on a mat.

Weigh in information:Weigh ins start at 8:00am and are continuous throughout the day.
Weigh in up to an hour prior to your first match time.

Saturday Weigh Ins - 1/30/21 - 8:00am and continuous throughout the day.

Kids, Teens, Adult Women and Adult Men can show up about an hour prior to the first match to weigh in. Please look at match times and plan appropriately. For a smoother tournament, please be signed up in the correct weight class and be on weight, otherwise you may be disqualified. ALL WEIGH INS ARE WITHOUT THE GI.

ALL MATCH TIMES ARE APPROXIMATE, PLEASE CHECK YOUR MATCH NUMBER(S) AND MATCH TIME(S). ONCE YOU ARE CALLED FOR YOUR MATCH AND YOU DO NOT SHOW, YOU WILL HAVE 20 MINUTES TO CHECK IN WITH THE SCOREKEEPER. YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED IF YOU DO NOT SHOW UP WITHIN 20 MINUTES.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE IN THE CORRECT WEIGHT DIVISION AND THAT YOU ARE AT WEIGHT, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!!! WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ADJUST BRACKETS AS NEEDED.

Cash Prize Tier:

-Kids/Teens/White/Beg (8 competitors $100) (6-7 competitors $50) (4-5 competitors $40) (3 or less competitors - No cash Prize)
-Blue/Int (8 competitors $150) (6-7 competitors $75) (4-5 competitors $45) (3 or less competitors - No cash Prize)
-Purple/Adv (8 competitors $200) (6-7 competitors $100) (4-5 competitors $55) (3 or less competitors - No cash Prize)
-Expert (8 competitors $250) (6-7 competitors $125) (4-5 competitors $65) (3 or less competitors - No cash Prize)
-Absolute Divisions (8 competitors $200) (6-7 competitors $100) (4-5 competitors $60) (3 or less competitors - No cash Prize)

Combined divisions that cause a division to meet the minimum cash prize tiers do not qualify for the higher cash prize.

Example 1 qualifies for cash prize:
A division that has 4 actual registered white belts at 185lbs qualifies for the $35 cash prize tier.

Example 2 does NOT qualify for the cash prize:
A division that has 3 actual registered white belts at 185lbs and 1 white belt 170lb'er combined due to low registration does not qualify for the $35 cash prize tier.
