2022 King of the Mat Summer Tournament

We will be following the IBJJF rules set. Please visit IBJJF.org/rules and get familiar with rules that will pertain to your division.

Registration ages 3+ (white to black belt) 

TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AUGUST 7th. Late registrations will not be accepted for any reason after this date.

ALL COMPETITORS MUST BE ON WEIGHT OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED

*PARENTS PLEASE NOTE - All ages are determined by year. Meaning if your 7 year old turns 8 later this year AFTER the tournament, they will still compete as an 8 year old.

It is your responsibility to weigh your child in WITH A GI ON and register them in the correct division (please do not guess your child's weight). Due to safety reasons for the children, their weight must be accurate with the gi.  PLEASE TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY!

You can make changes to your weight until August 9th at 12:00am so if your child is close to his weight IT IS YOUR responsibility to make sure he is in the right division

COMPETITORS WHO DO NOT MAKE WEIGHT WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

Youth Divisions will have a 2 lb allowance
Adult Divisions will have a 1 lb allowance

Weigh in stations open: 

Kids 8:00am Saturday morning

Adults: 10:00am Saturday morning

Both Adults and Kids can weight in the night before from 6:00-8:00pm

Kids Divisions:
-IBJJF Rules and match length times
-Two matches guaranteed
-Athletes must weigh in in the Gi and Belt
-Kids weigh in at 8:00am
-All kids should be weighed in and ready to compete by 9:00am
-2lb allowance with Gi and belt on (strictly reinforced)
-Reg $70, Late Reg $80, Add Nogi $30

Adult Divisions

-Single Elimination
-Adults weigh in station opens at 10:00am
-1lb allowance (strictly reinforced) 
-Adults and Masters are combined
-Reg $80, Late Reg $100, Absolute $20

1st - $300, Championship belt, Free registration into the next King of the Mat
2nd - $200, Free registration into the next King of the Mat
