YOUTH ATHLETE DISCLAIMER:
Youth Athletes are provided a 2 lbs allowance; however, in fairness to all Youth Athletes, please consider registering your Youth Athlete up a weight class if they are bordering the heavier division to avoid potential disqualification. Youth Athletes weighing over the 2 lbs allowance will be subject to disqualification.
MOVEMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY:
No movement requests are processed by CBJJF Staff via email while Registration is open.
Changes to any Athlete's Registration, or Cancellation to any Athlete's Registration, MUST be initiated by the Adult Athlete or Youth Athlete's Parent/Guardian in Smoothcomp. Login to your profile and select "My Account". Then, click "Edit" for this event. To cancel an athlete's registration, click "Cancel".
NO MOVEMENT REQUESTS ARE PERMITTED AFTER LATE REGISTRATION CLOSES AND OUR SCHEDULE IS RELEASED. PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE IN THE APPROPRIATE WEIGHT CLASS BEFORE LATE REGISTRATION ENDS.
Adult Athletes, and Parents/Guardians of Youth Athletes, are SOLELY responsible for ensuring they are registered in the proper weight category BEFORE Late Registration Closes.
NO movement accommodations are made the day of the event UNLESS an Athlete becomes the sole competitor AND the CBJJF Head Table determines it is possible to move the Athlete up a weight class. This decision is at the sole discretion of the CBJJF Head Table and is likely ONLY possible if there is ample time before the next weight class division begins.

REFUND & CREDIT POLICY:
100% Refunds are available until Saturday, November 19th
100% Credits are available until Saturday, December 3rd
50% Credits are available until Tuesday, December 13th
NO Credits or Refunds are available after Tuesday, December 13th
COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS & VENUE GUIDELINES:
As we continue to monitor the current situation, the CBJJF will be following the rapidly changing Provincial Health Guidelines in order to ensure all attendees remain safe and healthy at our events. In the case of a forced event cancellation, all registration fees will be automatically refunded. The CBJJF is not responsible for the participants other expenses such as, but not limited to; transportation and lodging.
Prior to the event, we kindly ask all attendees be extra attentive to their body. Please check your temperature BEFORE coming to the event and be mindful of any symptoms you are experiencing (or have experienced within 48 hours of the event).
If you have any symptoms related to COVID-19 within 48 hours of the event, please stay home and contact your health care provider. More importantly, if you (or someone you have been in contact with) tested positive for COVID-19 (or is awaiting test results) within 5 days of this event, please act responsibly and stay home.
REGISTRATION GUIDELINES:
- ALL Athletes can only register for ONE Gi and ONE No Gi Division.
- ALL Athletes competing in Gi and No Gi MUST register for at least the same weight class
- ALL Athletes competing in Gi and No Gi must weigh in ONCE with Gi & belt on
- ALL Athletes must be registered using their age as of the date of the tournament
- Male Athletes are single elimination
- Adult Female and Youth Athletes guaranteed two matches, unless opponent is a no show or is disqualified the day of the event
- Youth Athletes are provided a 2 lbs allowance at weigh-in (AVOID DISQUALIFICATION - MOVE UP A WEIGHT CLASS IF THE YOUTH ATHLETE REQUIRES THE ALLOWANCE!)
- Youth Athletes 16 years of age or older MUST request a Parental Consent Form from [email protected] in order to compete in an Adult (18+) Division

- If registered for Expert Division, IBJJF Black Belt Rules plus Heel Hooks & Reaping apply
**ADULT & MASTERS ABSOLUTE DIVISION**
- Available to MALE Athletes - Blue Belt and Up only
- Available to FEMALE Athletes - All Belt Levels
- Athletes must medal in their division to be eligible for Absolutes

COACH PASSES
All Coaches must apply for a Coach Pass at www.cbjjf.org/coachpass BEFORE Late Registration closes. The number of Coaches Passes issued to a school is determined by the number of athletes registered to compete.
