2023 AJJC - AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Australian National Championship. The 2023 AJJC is a 6 STAR National Ranking Points - 54 Gold, 18 Silver, 6 Bronze.

The 2023 AJJC (Australian National Championship) has run each year since 1996.

Opportunities to become a 2023 AJJC (Australian National Champion) are:

Junior Male Gi, Junior Female Gi, Male Juvenile Gi, Female Juvenile Gi, Male Gi, Female Gi.

Juvenile Male NoGi, Juvenile Female NoGi, Male NoGi, Female NoGi

Early bird entries close at Midnight on the 8th of  August - Late and final entries (at a slightly higher fee) close at Midnight on Tuesday the 22nd of August.

Last chance to change yourself out of a single fighter category to a different age or different weight is Wednesday midnight on the 23rd of August.

REFUND POLICY

A full 100% refund is available before registrations close at midnight on Tuesday the 22nd of August.

A full 100% refund remains available until the end of Check and Change day at midnight on Wednesday the 23rd of August.

No Refunds are available after midnight on Wednesday the 23rd of August. This applies also to competitors who have opponents withdraw on the day leaving them in a single fighter category.

Anyone Adult, Master or Junior in a single fighter category after midnight on the 23rd of August will collect the gold medal without a fight.

IMPORTANT NOTE

ADULT AND MASTER

Check and change day is available for 24hrs, closing at midnight on the 23rd of August, to move yourself up in weight or down in age(Master). If you have any difficulties doing this you can email [email protected] detailing your current category and the category you wish to be moved to. This email must be received before the close of Check and Change Day - midnight on the 23rd of August.

If you are in a single fighter category after Tuesday Midnight AEST you must move yourself or email [email protected] with explicit details as to where you wish to move.

JUNIOR AND JUVENILE

Juniors and Juveniles can be moved up in weight on Check and Change day - 23rd of August. Parents/coaches who need help moving up in age or weight or can contact [email protected] with explicit details of where they wish to move to - this request can be made at anytime up to and including midnight on Check and Change Day - 23rd of August.

It is now 100% the choice of parents/coaches to select a suitable category for their child/student. If any Junior or Juvenile is in a single fighter category after midnight on the 23rd of August without an advising email received prior to the Check and Change Day close, they will be placed in a populated category at the organisers discretion!

JUNIOR CONSOLATION FIGHT MAT

An extra mat will be available at the event for all first round losers. Those concerned must go to the mat coordinator for this mat and register their interest to participate. Note: Considering the National and International rules, the results from this mat will not form part of the event results or rankings. Participants can only be those with an original registration in the AJJC. Possible match ups need to be approved by a parent or guardian.

This 6 STAR event earns competitors National Ranking Points - 54 Gold, 18 Silver and 6 Bronze.

SUNDAY - All Junior - All Juvenile Gi, All Juvenile NoGi, All Adult NoGi, All Master Nogi

* Depending on numbers Master NoGi may be Saturday afternoon/evening.
