In the case of a forced event cancellation, all registration fees will be automatically refunded.
The organization and /or event promoter is not responsible for the participants other expenses such as, but not limited to; transportation and lodging.
All athletes are required to have a valid OJA membership.

Due to the nature of the facilities, we can only accommodate a set number of competitors in at any given time. Parent may be required to wait in parking lot until called/texted. 1 Parent/chaperon per child MAX. This will be strictly enforced + 1 coach.
You will be given a 20min warning of your match to prepare and be ready.

You must check your registration information on the competitor list before the registration check day. Make sure that all the information is correct. If there are any issues contact us immediately.
Make sure to have a clean gi in proper condition according to OJA rules.
The athletes must keep the kimono and belt tied to the waist at all times while waiting for their fight.
The referee makes the final decision and will not tolerate any complaints or make changes to the decision
The athletes are not allowed to wait in corridors or stairwells for fire safety/code reasons. Please arrive at 9:45am. Directly into 168 Queen St South, Mississauga, unit 210 (beside the TD bank, park on west lot, use stairs on south end, buzz to get let up).
Make sure to get to the event at least 30 minutes prior to your bracket schedule. You should be warmed up before entering the dojo.
Make sure to listen to the coordinator and/or watch for your text SMS. In the event you are required to wait in the parking lot, the coordinator will visit the parking lot to call for the next fighters and/or TXT you.
Do NOT remain in the dojo after the end of your fight. Return to your car or parking lot area, and remain there until the ring coordinator calls you for the next round if you won your previous match.
Be respectful to the staff, officials other athletes and coaches. In turn they will show you the same courtesy.
Be respectful to the referees, showing consideration and appreciation for the performance of his or her duties.
Any disputes regarding matches are to be settled by the Referee. All decisions by the Referee will be final. DO NOT call for points directed to the referee.

TALKING IS PROHIBITED. YELLING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Only one (1) Coach will be allowed to coach from the side.
Individuals will be given 1 warning to cease, after which the individual will be escorted out of the dogo and required to wait until his/her child has completed his/her match (or the parent can withdraw their child as well - with NO REFUND).
Direct all questions to tournament staff at the administration table. We will do our best to answer your questions as quickly as possible. Please be patient with questions as there are a lot of competitors at the event. As such we remain busy throughout the day.
Please maintain your belongings. We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items
