Rules
We adhere to a modified set of rules based on a combination of the IBJJF and AJP guidelines,

Under this system, advantages and penalties will be scored as 1 point each. Furthermore, for NoGi adult and masters divisions, brown belt rules will be followed from purple belt.
The new scoring system replaces advantages and penalties with points. Athletes will now be awarded 1 (one) point whenever they reach a position previously considered worth an advantage. In case of penalties, every time an athlete is penalized by the referee, their opponent will be awarded 1 (one) point.
Submission-only divisions will be strictly No Gi, and all submissions will be legal at all belt levels. All matches will have a standard duration of 5 minutes for adults. For submission-only matches, if there is no submission after 5 minutes, an additional 2 minutes will be added. In the event that there is still no submission after this time, both athletes will be eliminated.
