SIO Grappling Challenge 2024
SIO Grappling Challenge 2024
The SIO Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Grappling Challenge is coming to Vancouver Island on Saturday, April 20, 2024!
This Gi and No-Gi tournament is open to Jiu-jitsu clubs of all affiliations. The Kids/Youth divisions will be round-robin format, and the Juvenile and Adult Gi and No-Gi will be single elimination format.
This will be a great opportunity to get some competition experience in a friendly venue. We will use the IBJJF points system for all divisions, although our ‘Sub-Hunter’ ruleset will favour submission wins over points wins in the rankings for medals.
All divisions will be formed based on a combination of age, weight, and skill. We will make every effort to create even and competitive brackets; however, we reserve the right to merge divisions in order to give everyone the best experience.
All Black Belts register for FREE using the code: Blackbelt2023
Deadline for Early Bird registration is Wednesday, February 28th. Regular registration will be open until Sunday, April 07th. Late registration will close Sunday, April 14th at midnight.
