COVID-19 MEASURES

- All the kids competitors are allowed to bring 1 coach/parent along

- NO VISISTORS ALLOWED.

- Everyone must guarantee the 1.5 meters, except on the mat.

- Competitors must leave the hall when their own bracket has ended.

- No open class until measures are relaxed.

- All adults (18+) have to bring a negative Covid-19 QR code, this can be by vaccination, a prove of that you had Covid-19 or a negative PCR test.

- Coaches have to be registerd by email before the registration deadline expires.

- If the tournament have to be cancelled/postponed, because of COVID-19, you will have the option to ask for a coupon to register for free on our next tournament or for a total refund of your registration fee.

- By registering you acknowledge and agree with the taken measurements.

2 FIGHTS GUARANTEED

On this third edition there will be an opportunity for everyone to try out their skills during the competition. All competitors will be guaranteed to fight at least 2 fights. This event will be contested under IBJJF standards.

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF COMPTITORS

This year there is a maximum number of 300 competitors

REGISTRATION DEADLINES

Normal registrations:

10-06-2021 - 01-09-2021 Costs: € 30,-

Late registrations:

01-09-2021 - 10-11-2021 Costs: € 34,-

Kids registrations:

10-06-2021 - 10-11-2021 Costs: € 15,-

Black belt registrations: Costs: Free

Note: Due the corona virus it won't be possible to switch weightclasses when weight isn't made on the competition day.

REFUND

When your registration has peen paid it will not be able to get your fee back, everything will be used to bring the other competitors the best service as possible.

WEIGH-IN

All competitors must weigh-in 1 hour before your bracket starts.

Weigh-in must be done in full gi with belt. Men are not allowed to wear rashguard underneath their gi, ladies are allowed to wear one. There will be a zero tolerance at the weigh-in. If you don't make weight, you will be disqualified and you lose your match on 'Walk-Over'.

DIVISIONS

Kids will compete in a round-robin system.

Adults will compete in a round-robin system and a single knock-out finals system. The no.1 of the round-robin bracket will advance to the single knock-out finals. The adult round-robin brackets will be at most 5 competitors.

Kids:

Belt: White, Grey, Yellow, Orange, Green

Age: 7-9, 10-12, 13-15

Weightclass: -25kg, -30kg, -35kg, -40kg, -45kg, -50kg, -55kg, -60kg & +60kg

Note: if there are to few competitors in a kids division (belt, age or weight) the organization will try to merge the brackets for the kids to have at least 2 fights against different opponents.

Men:

Age: 16 and older (adults)

Weight class: -64kg, -70kg, -76kg, -82,3kg, -88,3kg, -94,3kg, -100,5kg & +100,5

Female:

Age: 16 and older (adults)

Weight class: -52,5kg, -58,5 kg, -64kg, +64kg

Note: if there are to few competitors in a division (belt or weight) the organization will move the competitor up to the next available higher division (weight divisions will be merged with the division below).

OPEN WEIGHT CLASS

This year there will be no Open Weight Class competition until the Covid-19 meassures relax

MATCH DURATION

2 minutes - Kids: 7-9

3 minutes - Kids 10-12

4 minutes - Kids 13-16

5 minutes - Adults White belts

6 minutes - Adults Blue belts

7 minutes - Adults Purple belts

8 minutes - Adults Elite belts (brown & black)

GETTING READY

Be at the warm-up area 3 fights before your match starts, pay attention to the live bracket schedule on Smoothcomp. The brackets will be visible at the weigh-in, but also on the screen your mobile phone at the Smoothcomp website. Keep in mind that it is your own responsibility to be on time. When your name has been called out you have to be ready at your competition mat within 2 minutes otherwise you will be disqualified.

COACHING

The competitors are allowed to have 1 coach with them at the competition area.

Note: In all situations that recall a belt difference, the lower belt rules will be applied.

SUPPORTERS

NO SUPPORTERS DUE THE COVID-19 MEASSUREMENTS

Visitors will have free acces and there will be enough free parking spaces near the venue. So support your teammates and help them getting ready before and after their fights.

Supporters have to take place on the seats on the tribune that are marked and have to keep a 1,5 meter distance to each other.
