Arte Suave rule set 

RULES AND REGULATIONS 

CASH ONLY DURING THE EVENT!

We do not accept credit/debit cards during the event to purchase spectator passes and food. 

NOTE: According to the venue, they do NOT allow outside food and drinks. There WILL BE concessions AVAILABLE at the venue. 

FRIDAY WEIGH-INS (Optional) 28th from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

The doors will open Friday, May 28th at 6:00 p.m. On arrival every competitor and spectator will check-in at our front desk. Once checked in, the competitors will proceed to weigh-ins. Any further questions will be answered at bracketing. If there are no discrepancies, the competitors will be required to be ringside one hour before their estimated start time on Saturday.

NOTE: It is NOT mandatory to weigh-in the day before.

ALL COMPETITORS must be weighed in at the time listed below. 

TOURNAMENT

Doors open Saturday May 29th at 8:00 a.m. The rules meeting will take place at 8:30 a.m. Kids and Teens that have not checked in will be required to check-in no later than 8:45 a.m. Adults will need to be checked/weighed in no later than 90 minutes before their estimated start time. Competitors that are not checked in on said times will be disqualified from the event without a refund. Coaches and competitors will be required to be checked in one hour before the start time. No-Gi DIVISIONS

Beginner - White Belt

Intermediate - Blue/Purple Belt

Advanced - Brown/Black Belt

TOURNAMENT & SEMINAR FEE

1 Division=$85USD

(Early bird = $75USD)

2 divisions= $100USD

(Early bird = $90USD)

Additional division = $15USD

Spectators $15USD 

Immediate family discount $12

5 & under are free

COACH PASS (Verified Purple belt - Black belt)

• 1 - 5 competitors = 1 FREE coach pass

• 6 - 10 competitors = 2 FREE coach passes

• 11-15 competitors = 3 FREE coach passes

• 16-20 competitors = 4 FREE coach passes 

• 21-25 competitors = 5 FREE coach passes

• 26+ competitors = 6 FREE coach passes (Max limit)

Additional passes - $12 per coach

Coach passes will be divided by the ASC staff Thursday night. 

Coach passes will be handled at check-in. 

COACH PASS for BLUE BELT and UNDER will have to be APPROVED by the TEAMS INSTRUCTOR (Brown -Black belt).

Example: Instructor will not be attending the event. LOWER RANKED ADULTS & HIGH RANKED TEENAGERS can receive a COACH PASS with the approval of the instructor via email. 

NOTE: SPECIAL REQUEST COACH PASS will NOT be given on the DAY OF THE EVENT

REFUND/ CREDIT POLICY

For all factors other than lack of competition, a $10 refund fee will be charged for canceling the registration. 

You can cancel and receive a refund before the event. Competitors must cancel by Friday. ASC will give refunds to competitors that could not find a match-up for their division. All discrepancies will be handled at bracketing. To receive a credit or a refund please email [email protected]

Refund on cancel or keep your registration as a credit for the new event. 

Call the office if you need help with the refund. 

No refunds during the day of the event. You may receive a refund on the day of the event if you do not have a match for your division.
