UPDATE 9/25/19: Weigh-ins at venue can be done either Friday (All) 4:45-6pm, Saturday (kids/teens) 10-11am, or teens/adults only Saturday 12-1pm.

DOORS OPEN 10am sharp. Event starts at 11-11:15am with kids gi divisions, no gi, then teens, adults gi and no gi followed by Superfights!  NO OUTSIDE food or drinks.  No refunds.

START TIME(s) Aprroximate:  Kids 11:15am,

Teens/Juvenile 12:30pm, ADULTS 1:pm 

END TIME: 3p-4pm.

Some manually entered brackets will be update on this page with competitors names or at venue.  If you dont have a bracket you will be notified by Wednesday 9/25, refunded or given credit and you will receive email and/or text stating so. IF YOU DONT receive text,email for refund that means you are fighting. 

This tournament will start at 11am and estimated finish is 2pm so make sure ALL Youth and Adults are checked in/weighed in and ready. Thank you.

SubmissionFC presents SAMURAI CUP II

Location:  ALAMO CITY ALL STARS,  11471 E Loop 1604 N, Universal City, TX 78148

Weigh ins:  2 options. 1) Friday, 9/27/19, 4:45pm-6pm (at venue)  all ages or 2) kids,teens, adults day of event 10am-11am at venue, or adults only 11am-12pm.

Doors open 10am. Events starts at 11am.  ** Starting with kids divisions, Teens. Gi divisions go first followed by no gi.  Estimated start time for adults is 1pm. Superfights will start approximately 1pm and be done by 2pm.  Any adult divisions still pending will resume after superfights. .  Check brackets and schedule. If you are not on our online brackets you most likely are on the amended registrations list above and you are fighting. (amended brackets made manually and posted at event). 

RULES MEETING: 1055am

Format:  This tournament will be submission only/single elimination.  Same as regular tournament except no points and no advantages. In the event there is no submission the referee will decide the winner.  The criteria for decision is legitimate sub attempts, take downs, reversals and/or positional control with sub attempts carrying the most weight.

How to Register:  REGISTRATION/BRACKETING ***NEW SYSTEM***

For this event SubFC (SubmissionFC) will be using the Smoothcomp tournament management system. If you have competed in a Smoothcomp event in the past you can login to Smoothcomp with those login credentials. If this is the first time you are using Smoothcomp you will need to create an account with them. 

What is Smoothcomp?  Smoothcomp is a tournament management system that allows you to register and pay for an event online. The system will generate brackets and at the event keep you updated on what time and which mat you will be competing, all in real time. We are excited to be using this system and giving our customers a better overall tournament experience at SubFC. 

When you register for first division it will say either $65(early registration price) or $80. If you are registering for second division  it will temporarily say also either $65 or $80 BUT once you click it and fill out info it will say $0.

Reminder you are guaranteed 1 division for your registration and up to 2 divisions if available. You may see your name only on gi or only on no gi. That usually means we weren't able to find you second division.

Deadlines:  Register before 9/1/19 and get FREE Tshirt.   Help your team win bigger team prize by registering before 9/10/19.

EarlyRegistration price ends 9/15/2019  and Normal Registration Final Deadline is 9/20/2019.
