Registrations close Friday 12pm

• Additional guests FREE

• Weigh-ins (IN GI) 8am 

• matches begin 9am and event should be complete by 2pm

• CAFE, bbq & drinks available

• medals and podium photos available immediately after bracket completion

• Local off-site street parking (short walk)

• Brackets released Friday evening
• Weigh-ins Sunday 8am
• Fights start 9am
• IBJJF Rules (no advantages)
• 3 minute matches
• True Round Robin (everyone plays everyone)
• 2 player division will be best of 3
• Limited to 150 competitors
• Girls vs Girls & Boys vs Boys
• Weight, Age and Experience match ups as fair as possible 
• Winner Declared by

1.  Most submissions (submission win = 3 points)
2. Most wins (winning by points = 2 points)
3. Win by any other method = 1 point

We are awarding GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE for each division

We will also have a sausage sizzle

If you've ever attended any official competition held by the AFBJJ, The Australian Federation of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, then you'd know that these official comps are always in the format of single elimination. 

What does that mean?

It means if you lose, you're out. See you later, have a good day.

Where as our round robin means everyone gets multiple matches whether you win or lose, and you'll get to experience a range of other competitors around your belt rank and weight. 

We will make sure to put your child in the most appropriate bracket, the last thing we want is to have inappropriate matchups that serve no-one.

Oh and by the way, we'll have some amazing refs on the day to make sure that everyone is first and foremost safe. 

Safety is absolutely paramount. I don't want to see anyone hurt on my mats and I'm sure you're the same. At the end of the day, we are spending all this time and energy putting together this round robin competition to help everyone get better.
