We are implementing a new simplistic point system, along with a new passivity ruleset.  With the two of these in play, it'll mean fewer overtimes, and an easier scoring system for the average parent, competitor, and coach to understand. Here are the match time limits:

Ages 4-12:   3 minutes

Ages 13-17:  4 minutes

Adult White Belts:  4 minutes

Adult Blue Belts:  5 minutes

No-Gi Absolutes:  5 minutes

Money Matches:  6 minutes

Tiebreaker Round:  90 seconds

Takedown: 2 point

Side Mount: 2 point

Full Mount: 2 point

Back Mount: 2 point

* Point system and passivity are in play
* Positions must be held for 3 seconds to be awarded pts

* No advantages or penalties will be given

* Ref's decision in the event of a 0-0 tie in overtime
