EGJJF Open White Belt Only April 2023

Tournament rescheduled!

Dear Competitor,

This morning we received a message from the municipal office that the Tournaments location will not be accessible this Sunday due to a runners' event. We contacted them a while ago to ask for the specific route and a corridor for you, our competitor and visitor. Unfortunately, we just received the message that this is impossible, which means that we can not guarantee that you can park, walk and leave our event at the desired time and date. Therefore we had to make the last-minute decision to reschedule the EGJJF Open White Belt ONLY for the 16th of April.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience this causes for you, we feel the same!

European Grappling & Jiu-Jitsu federation is organising her second White Belt Only tournament. The focus of this tournament lies on getting more experience for the fighters by applying a double-elimination format. The rules favour the fighter who is eager to submit, a format which proved to be successful in the prestigious Rickson Gracie Cup and EGJJF European Cup.

The tournament is held in a smaller setting, where fighters, friends and coaches can interact so that everybody is comfortable. With a maximum of 120 competitors we will guarantee great matches, great chances to win prizes and an excellent opportunity to learn!

Why Compete at the EGJJF Open White Belt Only

The EGJJF applies the official BJJ rules from the IBJJF.

MALE: -64 kg, -70 kg, -76 kg, -82.3 kg, -88.3 kg, -94.3 kg, -100.5 kg, +100.5 kg
WOMEN: -48,5 kg, -53,5kg, -64kg, -69kg, -74kg, +74kg

Open Weight:The medal winners of each class can sign-up after their bracket for open weight categorie.

Belt Divisions: WHITE BELTS ONLY

NOTE: If there are too few participants in a specific weight class, classes will be combined.
