Gi & Belt

The Gi must be clean, in the correct size (see page 12 in the rules), and have the same color jacket & pants.
The first called athlete wears a red belt.
The second called athlete wears a blue belt.

Match time

Special rules for U8 Fighting (not included in the Rule Book)

No protective gear for hand and feet has to be worn.
Athletes in male categories are not required to wear a jockstrap.
No fighting in Part 1.
"Full-Ippon" is achieved by being at least 8 points ahead of the opponent.
