Judo Queensland 2024 State Titles

Open to all eligible Judo Queensland members.

Mat Areas

3 mat areas will be used throughout the day. 

Weigh-in

Saturday 27th 

Junior Boys / Girls - 7:30 am - 8:00 am

Senior Boys / Girls - 8:30 am - 9:00 am

Cadets - 10:30 am - 11:00 am

Veterans - 10:30 am  - 11:00 am

Junior Men / Women - 11:30 am - 12 pm

Senior Men / Women - 11:30 am - 12 pm

Weight division changes will be allowed on the day of competition.

Competition

Friday 26th 

Kata - Beginning at 6pm. 
Dan Grade kata's being presented for examination will not be required to pay an entry fee.

Saturday 27th

Doors open at 7:30 am
Event Officials (including Referees) briefings from 8:00 am

Shiai categories will start at 8:30 am in the following order: 

1. Junior Boys and Girls (inc No Limits) followed by,
2. Senior Boys and Girls (inc No Limits) followed by,
3. Veterans & Cadet Men and Women (inc No Limits) followed by,
4. Junior Men and Women (inc No Limits) followed by,
5. Senior Men and Women (inc No Limits) followed by,

Medal Presentations to be after each division.

Gi Requirements

All players competing in the State Championship must as a minimum wear a white judogi. Blue judogis are compulsory for Senior Boys & Girls, Cadets, Juniors, Seniors and Veterans. 

Notes

As per the Judo Queensland Sporting Code, mouth guards are permitted provided they are properly fitted by a dentist. Unfitted mouth guards shall not be permitted. The player must provide documentation prior to the competition to the Event Administrator at [email protected] and the player must also notify the mat Referee that they have a mouth guard each time they enter the mat to compete.

Minimum grades for Juniors boys/girls and below: First grading and attended three competitions

Minimum grade requirements Senior boys/girls and above: Orange belt and three or more competitions .
