PEAK GRAPPLING Stampede Summerslam 2024

• Youth / juvenile tournament with a double round elimination.

• Kids matches will run for 4 minutes in length.

• We will be following the IBJJF rules and regulations.  

• Door opens for competitor weigh in at 8:30 am.

• Competition starts at 9:30am.

• PEAK GRAPPLING ALLOWS A 1 LB. WEIGHT ALLOWANCE FOR ALL YOUTH registered into the tournament.

• Kids are guaranteed 2 matches.

• There is no weight allowance for adults registered into the super fights.  Being under or over the weight that you are registered into will result in immediate disqualification.

• Adult Superfights begin late afternoon/ evening.  We will take a brief break after the regular tournament format to clean the mats.

Spectator Entry Fees

Free for persons 5 years of age and under.

Kids ages 6- 12 $10 per person (pre- purchase).

EVERY GYM MAY BRING 1 COACH WHO WON'T PAY ENTRY. PLEASE DOWNLOAD A FREE COACHES PASS HERE: https://peakgrappling.ticketspice.com/peak-grappling Failure to download the free coaches  will result in paid entry.  An additional coach may be granted free entry depending on how many athletes they have competing in the event.  Please reach out for more details.

• There is a discounted parking rate of $15 per vehicle for our event if you park in the Hyatt Regency Parkade which is accessible via Centre Street SW.  Enter through the overhead doors to the left side of the main hotel entrance.  See our staff for parking chits.  There will be a 150 vehicle capacity in the Hyatt Regency Hotel Parkade.  Overflow parking is available next door at the Telus Convention Center (CPA Lot 60 Convention Centre Parkade) accessible via McLeod Trail SW.

• You are responsible for keeping track of your call time, keeping in mind you may be called early.

• ***Where your chosen category cannot be accommodated, you will be moved to the next most suitable available category.  For, Junior & Juveniles, this may mean moving up/ down an age group, up a weight or in some circumstances, merging Male and Female categories into a mixed category***

• All the competitors must wear uniform according to IBJJF guidelines.

• ALL kids are allowed to wear rash guards for this competition.

• Submissions will be allowed in all age groups/ brackets.  Athletes must comply with IBJJF kids rules.

• We will be featuring Muay Thai exhibition matches throughout the day at this event.

• 1st, 2nd and 3rd place athletes will receive a customized medallion, by our sponsors Bandage Jiu- Jitsu x MRP.  Lost or unclaimed medals will NOT be mailed out to athletes.  It is your responsibility to claim and place your medals in a safe place.
