Landvetter Kata Open

This competition is for everyone that enjoys Kata, from beginners and first-time competitors to more experienced kata competitors. It is also about meeting other fellow competitors and teams under the traditional Kyokushin values and exchange kata experience. We especially encourage all (young and old) who have never competed before to participate.

When and where? 

The event will take place on Saturday 16th of November 2024 at the Pinntorpshallen Arena in Landvetter

REGISTRATION AND FEES

Registration opens 1 September. Latest registration date is 9 November.

Entry fee for participants is 350 SEK (early bird 300 SEK before 15th of October). Registration and payment can be made using Smoothcomp (LINK).

Entry fee for spectators is 100 SEK (adults) and 50 SEK (children older then 8 years). Participants who cancel before 9th of November will be fully refunded and before 14th of November will be 50% refunded. 

Important to add correct belt (kyu/mon) and age in your Smoothcomp profile.

PRELIMINARY PROGRAM

8:30 – 9:30: Participants sign-up together with their coach 

9:30: Start meeting with coaches and referees 

10:00: Opening ceremony

10:30: Start tournament (7–15 years)

Approx. 12:30 – 13:30: Lunch

Approx. 13:30 – 16:00: Tournament continues (16 years and up)

Attention!

Categories with grades below and up to 5-6 Kyu (4-5 Mon) will be fully completed before lunch on 2 tatami’s followed by the award ceremony. 

The categories 4 kyu and up, will start after lunch.
