Singapore Grappling Championship: Gi & No-Gi

Bushido Fight Series presents "Singapore Grappling Championship: Gi & No-Gi" in conjunction with Tatami Fight Wear. It is open to Juveniles, Adults, and Masters.

All are welcome to register for Gi & No-Gi as there are divisions for all skill levels.

Day 1:

Gi: White Belt, Blue Belt, Purple Belt, Brown Belt, and Black Belt.

Juvenile Boys Gi (16-17 years old); 53.5kg, 58.5kg, 64kg, 69kg, 74kg, 79.3kg, 84.3kg, 89.3kg, 89.3kg+

Juvenile Girls Gi (16-17 years old); 53.5kg, 58.5kg, 64kg, 69kg, 74kg, 74kg+

Male Gi (18+/30+ years old); 57.5kg, 64kg, 70kg, 76kg, 82.3kg, 88.3kg, 94.3kg, 100.5kg, 100.5kg+

Female Gi (18+/30+ years old); 48.5kg, 53.5kg, 58.5kg, 64kg, 69kg, 74kg, 79.3kg, 79.3kg+

Male Absolute Gi (18+ years old); Open Weight

Female Absolute Gi (18+ years old); Open Weight

Day 2:

No-Gi: Beginner (<2 years grappling experience), Intermediate (2-4 years grappling experience), and Advanced classes (>4 years grappling experience).

Male No-Gi (18+/30+ years old); 55kg, 61kg, 67kg, 73kg, 79kg, 85kg, 91kg, 97kg, 97kg+

Female No-Gi (18+/30+ years old); 46kg, 51kg, 56kg, 61kg, 66kg, 71kg, 71kg+

Male Absolute No-Gi (18+ years old); Open Weight

Female Absolute No-Gi (18+ years old); Open Weight

Weigh-ins:

Weigh-ins open at 9am and will be open throughout the day. You can weigh-in anytime before your match, at least 45-60 minutes in advance. Check the "brackets & schedule" on the Smoothcomp event page for the timing of your match (will be published on 17 Oct). The first match will begin at 10am.

Weigh-in without Gi

500g weight allowance

If you are competing in both Gi & No-Gi, you will have to weigh-in once, on each day.

Age categories are based on year of birth

Organizers hold the right to move competitors to another division in the event that there are not enough competitors to fill a bracket

In the interest of maximizing the number of matches for the competitors, several formats may be in place to make sure everyone is happy
