Maximum capacity
On the first PAN European Championship there will be a maximum capacity of 500 competitors with a maximum capacity per division.
- Each kids division has a maximum capacity of 25 competitors.
- Each adult division has a maximum capacity of 40 competitors.
- Each masters division has a maximum capacity of 25 competitors.
REFUND POLICY
Only in the case that the event has to be canceled there will be a refund option.
OPEN WEIGHT CLASS
Only for the first three medal winners of each weight category of the adults. Athletes must register for the Open Class within 15 minutes after receiving their medal. There will be no Open Class for the masters.
NOTE: No Open Class for the WHITE BELTS - ONLY OPEN CLASS' BLUE & ELITE (PURPLE AND UP)! BOTH GI & NOGI

Division merges
In the absence of opponents of the same weight and belt, merges will be made respecting as much as possible sex, and weight.

6 minutes: Brown & Black belts

5 minutes: All belts
Permitted submission holds and forbidden techniques
Check this illegal move card for all prohibited submissions holds and illegal moves for gi & no-gi per age and belt level. Note that this just a display of the prohibited moves and doesn't contain all the prohibited moves and situations.
Referees judgement
In any given situation the referees call is final. This can be a disqualification call or a victory call. The referee will also make a proffesional judgement call on any submission hold situation in the kids matches. Whenever the referee feels the need to stop the fight to avoid injuries and protect the athletes he will step in. This judgement is final and will not be undone.
Bracket type
- All brackets with just two competitors will compete in a best of three bracket.
- All brackets with 3 - 5 competitors will compete in a round-robin bracket.
- All brackets with 6-9 competitors will compete in 2 round-robin brackets, followed by an elimination-round for the gold and silver medal with, max. 4 fights.
- All brackets with more then 9 competitors will compete in multiple round-robin brackets fights, followed by an elimination-round for the medals, with max. 4.
COMPETITOR LISTS
The competitor list will be LIVE throughout the whole registration period and can be viewed by checking out the registrations tab on the event page.
We encourage everyone to login before the deadline day of late registration and check their details along with the competitor list, and not wait until the brackets are published and locked in to confirm such details.
After the deadline of the correction date there will be no more option to change anything on your registration.
SCHEDULE:
The events brackets and schedule will be released 1 week prior to the tournament. You will be able to locate both on the brackets and schedule tab and on your personal smoothcomp profile. Keep an eye out on the bracket start and figh start time, the times are dynamic and can change.
WEIGH-IN
Have your ID-card of passport at hand
The official weigh-in begins at 08:00 am on the day your bracket is scheduled.
Weigh-in is possible until 60 minutes before your scheduled division start time. All competitors must weigh-in, also the + divisions. This is to check if the competitors are present. When a competitor is to late to weigh-in, this will result in a disqulification.
All competitors can weigh-in two times, if you don't make weigh on the second try you will be disqualified from the competition.
Weigh-in for the gi competition will be done in gi. If a competitor competes in both gi and no-gi they have to weigh-in just once.
Weigh-in for the no-gi competition will be done in the competition outfit.
At the weigh-in there will be a zero tolerance policy. No deviation will be tolerated.
COACH & CROWD
Each team can bring their own coach. Coaches have to be registered by sending an email to the organizer. Coaches have to bring their ID-card or passport to identify when collecting their coaching card.
At the mat there will be a coaching chair on each side of the score table where the coach has to take place.
Only coaches and athletes are allowed to enter the competition area, als supporters and athletes that aren't waiting on their fight have to wait on the bleachers.
There is a limit on the amount of coaches per athelets:
- 1 coach 1-4 athletes
- 2 coaches 5-9 athletes
- 3 coaches 10-14 athletes
- 4 coaches 15-19 athletes
- 5 coaches +20 athletes
THE RESPECT RULE
This event has a zero tolerance policy regarding inappropriate behaviour by coaches, parents/guardians, spectators and competitors.
All in attendance must show some restraint when their students or teammates are competing.
There will be competitors and spectators of all ages at this event and we are here to set an example. Any swearing, inappropriate gestures, violence (towards person or property) or berating the officials (regardless of any decisions they make) will not be tolerated.
If this happens, the referee or the organization has the right to disqualify that competitor, or to ask the coach to leave the area. If those concerned do not comply with the referee or the organization requesting the coach to leave, the competitor will be disqualified from the event.
