Tohkon Classic 25 & GKJN Cup

TOHKON CLASSIC 25 & GKJN CUP

AND NATIONAL REFEREE EVALUATION SITE

This is a two day event.

Saturday June 4th is the Tohkon Classic Tournnament - 25th Anniversary!  

Sunday June 5th is the GKJN Cup - A clinic by Megumi Ishikawa and Marti Malloy for all ages - followed by a team tournament for youth judoka 16 and under.

Attend both days and register by May 25th to receive a free tournament T-Shirt!  Limited supply of t-shirts will be available for those who register after May 25th or are unable to attend both days.

• Registration closes 11:59 p.m. Central Time Wednesday,  June 1, 2022.
• Satellite Weigh-Ins due 11:00 p.m. Central Time Thursday, June 2, 2022.

Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the Rosemont Dome

• Referees’ meeting 8:00 a.m. 
• Competitor check-in 8:00 – 9:30 a.m.
• Kata competition begins 8:30 a.m. 
• Opening Ceremony 9:30 a.m.
• Shiai competition, Juniors & Seniors, begins at 10:00 a.m.

Sunday, June 5, 2022 At the Rosemont Dome.                          
All Clinic & Tournament Participants Check-In 8:30 – 9:00 a.m.

Opening Ceremony 9:00 a.m. -  9:30 a.m.
Technical Clinic with Megumi Ishikawa & Marti Malloy 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Japanese Lunch 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
Junior Team Tournament 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Awards Ceremony  4:00 p.m. (All competitors must be present in Judo gis).

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE COMPLETING REGISTRATION:

1. To register you must create a Smoothcomp account.  If you are registering minors, you should create one account and add each child to your account as a profile.  Once your profile is created you MUST re-click the link for the tournament and complete your registration.
2. You MUST sign up each participant for each category and division they wish to compete in.  You are not finished with your registration until you have made payment and receive a confirmation email for each participant!

4.
