SPECIAL INFORMATION FOR THIS EVENT ONLY

NEWBREED Ultimate Challenge Jiu Jitsu Federation (NUCJJF) is the official grappling tournament for the 2018 Olympia Fitness Expo. With the registration fee you will have total access to the entire expo experience. There will be hundreds of exhibitors and tons of free swag. This is definitely an event that you don’t want to miss!!! 

PARKING & ENTRANCE TIPS: NUCJJF will be located in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Go to the S2 Lobby to avoid most of the crowds going to the S1 Lobby (Main Entrance). The best parking for the S2 Lobby entrance is either the Bronze Lot or Platinum Lot. 

Spectator tickets are $20 and include all-access to the 2018 Olympia Fitness Expo.

REFUND/VOUCHER POLICY

-Military members with orders to go overseas are entitled to a full refund if they can provide a copy of their orders.

REFUNDS

-NO REFUNDS will be given at any time for any reason.

CREDITS

-You can receive a credit for a future event for any reason until 12:00 PM on the Friday before the event by logging into your account and canceling your registration.

-You do not need to contact the office to receive or use your credit

VOUCHERS

-Vouchers will no longer be issued prior to the event

-Requests to redeem your voucher must be made by email ([email protected]).

-Vouchers are valid at any of our events nationwide.

VOUCHERS WILL NOT BE ISSUED AFTER THE TOURNAMENT FOR ANY REASON

DISCOUNTS

WOMEN’S DISCOUNT

-Only valid for female competitors that are competing the Women’s Gi and/or NoGi division.

-A $10.00 discount will be automatically applied to your order.

FAMILY COMPETITOR DISCOUNTS

-Please email our office at [email protected] for a discount code (may be asked to provide proof of relationships).

-Please include your first and last name, the number of people you are registering and their first and last names. This will expedite the process of receiving your discount code.

-Only valid for IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS (brothers, sisters, parents, children and spouses).

-Teammates, cousins, coaches and students DO NOT qualify for the family discount packages.

-2 competitor family discount - $86.00 per person (early reg); $96.00 per person (late reg)

-3 competitor family discount - $83.00 per person (early reg); $93.00 per person (late reg)

-4 competitor family discount - $80.00 per person (early reg); $90.00 per person (late reg)

-5 competitor family discount - $77.00 per person (early reg); $87.00 per person (late reg)

WEIGH-INS

-Weigh-ins will take place on Saturday only.

-Event will start at 10:30 am sharp.

-You must weigh in 60 minutes prior to your division. If you are late for weigh-ins, you WILL be disqualified and NO voucher or refund will be given. So, please consider drive time, traffic and time to find parking as these will NOT be valid reasons for missing weigh-ins.

-You do not have to weigh in with your Gi on.

-You only have to weigh in once, even if participating in multiple divisions.

-We have a 1 pound allowance policy.

IF YOU DO NOT MAKE WEIGHT

-For competitors 16 years of age and older: you WILL be disqualified and NO refund or voucher will be given.

-For competitors 15 years of age and under: we will do our best to accommodate you and move you into a new bracket. THIS IS NOT GUARANTEED. If there are no available fights, we will provide a voucher for future use but NO refunds will be given.

COMPETITOR INFORMATION

-You can access a full list of competitors by visiting the event page and clicking on the “Registrations” tab.

-This is a REAL-TIME list that updates automatically as competitors register.

DIVISION CHANGES

-You can make changes to your registration until 11:59 PM on the day of the final registration deadline (Tuesday prior to the event).

-Log into your account to make any necessary changes.

-If the final registration deadline passes and you do not like where you are bracketed, you can cancel your registration before 12 pm on the Friday prior to the event and receive a credit for a future event.

BRACKETS AND SCHEDULE

-Brackets and the event schedule will be posted on the Thursday prior to the event.

-You can access these by visiting the “Brackets & Schedule” tab.

-A REAL-TIME schedule by bracket and REAL-TIME schedule by match order will be featured on large TV monitors at the event allowing you access to the most up-to-date information available.

-During the event, you will be able to access this information from your mobile device.

-Competitors must be in Fighter Bullpen 15 minutes prior to your match time.

-Please be ON TIME to your designated mat to keep the tournament running on time.

COACH information

-Waiting on coaches not only holds up a single competitor’s match but has a domino effect on the rest of the event. It is for this reason that we will no longer wait on coaches to finish at one mat before beginning a match at another. Please keep this in mind when planning on the number of coaches to bring to each event.

-Coach’s passes will be provided free of charge depending on the number of competitors from your school.

-3-10 competitors: 2 Coach’s Passes

-11-15 competitors: 3 Coach’s Passes

-16-20 competitors: 4 Coach’s Passes

-21+ competitors: 5 Coach’s Passes

-For competitors on the mat that are ages 13 and under, we will allow one coach per competitor inside the barricades.

-For competitors 14 years of age and over, we will NOT allow any coaches inside the barricades.

-If you need to bring more coaches than the number of passes provided, they are available for purchase for $5.00 each at the door.

-Parents are NOT allowed to purchase coach’s passes unless there is not a coach from your academy present.

RESULTS & AWARDS

-Results are REAL-TIME and will be automatically posted on the TV monitor at the awards booth beside the podium as well as on the event page.

-The Tournament Team winners that place first in both the youth and adult divisions will be awarded custom banners as well as a beautiful large Trophy Cup. Trophies may vary depending on the event but they are always of the highest quality.

-Awards are subject to change. 

-All competitors who place first, second or third in any age group, skill level or weight class will be awarded a Custom NEWBREED Medal.

-First place competitors 18 and older in Advanced No Gi or Purple, Brown & Black belt Gi will be awarded a custom Championship Belt.

FEATURED DIVISION - (TUG) THE ULTIMATE GRAPPLER QUALIFIER

(aka MEN’S NO-GI ADVANCED ABSOLUTE)

-Must be male, 18 years or older.

-Winner receives a NEWBREED Advanced Champion Belt and automatically qualifies for the Ultimate Grappler Finale and a chance to win $2,500!

TUG ONLY

-Early registration - $50.00.

-Late registration - $60.00.

TUG AS ADDITIONAL DIVISION

-Early registration - $25.00.
