The Gold Coast International Open is open to all judoka registered with Judo Australia as well as members from any other IJF-affiliated national governing body.

Medal Presentations to be after each division.

Gi Requirements

Correct belt colours are to be worn by all players.

Blue and white judogi are required for Junior and Senior Boys & Girls, Veterans, Cadet and Junior and Senior Men and Women. Players without the correct uniform will forfeit the fight.

A white judogi is mandatory for medal presentations and award ceremonies.

Notes

As per the Judo Australia Sporting Code, mouth guards are permitted provided they are properly fitted by a dentist. Unfitted mouth guards shall not be permitted. The player must provide documentation prior to the competition to the Event Administrator at [email protected] and the player must also notify the mat Referee that they have a mouth guard each time they enter the mat to compete.

The minimum grade for Junior and Senior Boys & Girls is 4th Kyu and 3rd Kyu for Cadets and above as per the JA Sporting Code.

Spectators are welcome with $5 for kids $10 for adults and $15 for families (2 adults & 2 kids) payment by cash or card on entry
