  •      Sunday 8:00am at the Tournament Site: Burnt Hills - Ballston Lake High School 88 Lakehill Rd, Burnt Hills, NY 12027

Eligibility:  US COMPETITORS:  Must be a current member of USJI, USJA, USJF or ATJA. Online membership available for USA Judo, USJF and USJA.

  • Proof of membership must be shown at time of weigh-ins.

Age:  5 years of age or older.

Rules: 

  • IJF Modified Contest Rules & Golden Score.
  • No Chokes or Armlocks 12 years old and younger.
  • No Chokes or Armlocks in Novice.
  • No Armlocks in 13-14 age divisions.
  • Chokes & Armlocks Allowed in U18 (Cadet), U21 (IJF Jr), Brown Belt, Elite & Masters.
  • Blue & White gis required for Cadet, IJF Jr. & Elite divisions.
  • Juniors, Novice & Masters must bring white & blue belts

Scoring System:  True Double Elimination

Match Times:  

  • Juniors, Novice & Masters - 3 minutes with 3 minute Golden Score
  • Cadet, IJF Jrs. & Senior Men & Women - 4 minutes with unlimited Golden Score

Competition Begins: Sunday

  • Doors Open at 7am
  • 8 am - Kata Competition starts
  • 9:30 am - Sr. Elite first, *NEW Order* next start with Juniors 5-6 years old through 13-14, U18 (Cadet), U21 (IJF Jr), Masters, Brown Belt, & Novice

Registration & Weigh-ins:

  • Saturday:  4 - 8pm at the JASON MORRIS JUDO CENTER 584 Saratoga Rd., Glenville, NY 12302
  • Athletes fighting in more than one division only needs to weigh-in once! Athletes moving up to a higher weight division, does so at their own risk and does not need to re-weigh.
  • The tournament directors reserve the right to make any changes they deem necessary to insure the safety and fairness to all competitors.

Entry Fees:

  • $80 per person on or before October 1st & $30 for second division.
  • Late fee: $90 & $35 for second division
  • No Spectator fees

Awards:

  • Medals for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place
  • $250 Prize money for 1st place winners of the men and women elite divisions (Olympic weight classes only). A division must have at least 5 competitors to qualify for the prize money. Competitors who desire to win money and who do not have enough competitors in their division may move up to the next weight class. 

Food:

  • Food available for purchase at concession stand on site. Breakfast starting at 8am!
  • There will be a hospitality room for coaches, referees and staff.
