EARLY REGISTRATION - until April 2 KIDS - $90 ADULT - $100

NORMAL REGISTRATION - until May 14 KIDS - $100 ADULT - $110

LATE REGISTRATION - until June 4 KIDS - $110 ADULT - $120

SPECTATORS: KIDS - $10.00 (USD), ADULTS - $15.00 (USD), Children 5-years and younger are FREE 

What is Legacy Jiu-Jitsu Championships (LJJC)? 

In 2009 we launched our first tournament, the NorCal Legacy in Alameda, California. 12 years later in 2021, Legacy Jiu-Jitsu Championships returned and are here to stay! This is a gi & no-gi tournament for Kids, Juvenile, Adults, and Masters from White to Black belt. 

NOTICE TO ALL COMPETITORS & COACHES!!

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR US AT LJJC TO PROVIDE A QUALITY BJJ COMPETITION EXPERIENCE THAT WILL NOT ONLY GIVE YOU AN OPPORTUNITY TO DISPLAY YOUR JIU-JITSU BUT ALSO HELP YOU PREPARE FOR SOME OF THE BIGGER COMPETITIONS. MOST OF THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS TOURNAMENTS (WORLDS, PANS, EUROPEANS, ETC.) ARE ALL RUN BY THE IBJJF. 

WITH THAT BEING SAID WE AT LJJC ARE CHANGING OUR RULESET TO FOLLOW THE IBJJF RULESET. PLEASE REFER TO THE IBJJF RULE BOOK FOR MORE DETAILS.

Brackets/Format

• Competitors are given a minimum of five minutes to rest in between matches.

• All matches are single-elimination. However, if there are only 2 or 3 people in a bracket the matches will be run in round robin format or brackets may be combined. During the round-robin format, all competitors will face each other and in case of a tie (where all competitors win one match) the following criteria will determine the winner:
• Highest number of wins by submission 
• Highest number of wins by points
• Highest number of wins by refs decision 
• Shortest match length (In the case of the number of wins by submission is tied) 
• Highest number of accumulated points
• Referee decision in the event where all competitors are still tied

Weigh-ins:

We will have DAY BEFORE WEIGH-INS however, the time & place will be announced a week before the event. 

SAME-DAY WEIGH-INS will happen at the door when you check in.

There will be a 2-POUND ALLOWANCE 

ATTENTION ALL COMPETITORS! If competing Gi, athletes must weigh in with their gi and belt on. If competing no-gi, athletes must weigh in with their no-gi attire - rashguard and shorts.
