All athletes who remain solo in their divisions once brackets are released means had no default merges available to them, and therefore there are no matches available for that competitor. They will receive a full coupon credit for entry to any future event of ours.

Weigh-ins: At Armbar City, we believe in fostering a culture of trust and respect within the BJJ community. That's why we're excited to announce that for this year's tournament, we will not be conducting formal weigh-ins. Instead, we're relying on the honesty of our competitors to sign up for their actual weight bracket. We want everyone to feel comfortable and confident competing at their natural weight, without the stress and pressure of cutting weight. However, we do reserve the right to weigh any competitor who we suspect may not be following this policy. We ask that all participants abide by the honor system and compete with integrity, in the spirit of fair play and sportsmanship.

Additional Notes:

It is important that you check your registration information on the competitor list before the registration check day to ensure that all the information is correct. If there are any issues, please contact us immediately so we can address them.

Make sure that your gi is clean and in proper condition according to OJA rules. Additionally, athletes must wear shoes/sandals at all times.

Please note that the referee makes the final decision, and any complaints or requests to change a decision will not be tolerated.

To ensure that you are ready for your match, please arrive at the event at least 45 minutes prior to your bracket schedule and be warmed up by the time your bracket is called.

Listen carefully to the division calls on the PA system, and pay attention to the ring coordinator calls in the bull pen area.

Please show respect to the staff, officials, other athletes, and coaches, and they will show you the same courtesy. Be considerate and appreciative of the referees and their performance of their duties. Any disputes regarding matches will be settled by the referee, and their decision will be final.

If you have any questions, please direct them to the tournament staff at the administration table. We will do our best to answer your questions as quickly as possible, but please be patient with us, as we are busy throughout the day. Lastly, please maintain your belongings, as we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.
