2024 Sub Spectrum No-Gi State Championships

Weigh-Ins Available on Saturday August 3rd beginning at 11 AM.

The opening ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM.

Matches will begin at 5:20 PM.

Spectators:

$25 Admission

Kids 12 and under enter for free.

Tickets will be available to purchase online and at the door. Competitors will receive a percentage of each online ticket sold under their name. Tickets purchased at the door will not be applied to the athlete's compensation.

Registration:

Only athletes who've received an invite to this event may "register."

It is free to register, but you must do so in order to confirm your participation in the event.

Confirm your participation prior to July 5th at 11:59 PM. Athletes who have not confirmed their participation prior to the above listed date may lose their opportunity to compete. In this case, invites will be sent to another athlete.

Weigh-Ins:

NOTICE: THERE WILL BE NO DAY-BEFORE WEIGH-INS!

Weigh-ins will be available on Saturday August 3rd starting at 11:00 AM.

ALL competitors must be weighed in prior to 3:00 PM.

You will be required to wear clothing (t-shirt and shorts) while weighing in. You WILL NOT be allowed to disrobe or "strip" to your underwear, so please plan accordingly.

Because you are required to weigh in clothed, there will be a 2 LBS ALLOWANCE for all competitors to account for the weight of your clothing.

If you are unable to make the registered weight prior to 3:00 PM, you will be DISQUALIFIED from the event.

Format:

All matches at the 2024 No-Gi State Championships will be 1 vs 1 "Super fights" between the top two athletes in each category. 

In most cases, you will see the Winter Trials gold medalist facing off against the Summer Trials gold medalist.

For unique scenarios where an athletes is unable to participate (or if there was not a qualifying athlete from the opposing Winter/Summer Trials), invites may be issued to other athletes who competed at Winter/Summer Trials.

Schedules:

Opening ceremony for the event will begin at 5:00 PM on Saturday August 3rd with matches to follow.

Full match schedules will be available no later than Monday July 29th. Schedules are subject to slight changes leading up to the event.

We will run 2 matches simultaneously on stage for the Beginner & Intermediate Championships. We will run a single mat for the Advanced Championships.

Medical Staff:

There will be a professionally trained and certified medic on sight for the event. The Medic will be available for competitors to receive ice, evaluation, and advice in the event of an injury.
