Referees meeting will start at 9:00 am. CST

Eligibility:

All contestants must provide a valid USA Judo, U.S.J.A., U.S.J.F. A.T.J.A., A.J.J.F. or other national card.

Liability insurance provided by Club Bushido to allow all players to participate

Pre-Registration only:

DEADLINE = October 24, 2024.

Registration: $45 first division, $25 each additional division

(those competing in 2 divisions must register twice on smoothcomp)

Weight Verification:

All Competitors: 8am-9:30am. CST

Competition:

Opening Ceremonies: 10:00 am CST

Veterans and Seniors will start after the Opening Ceremonies.

Juniors will start no earlier than 11:30am CST

Door Fee:

$3 Proceeds will go to the Referees, to help with travel expenses.

SCORING:

True Double Elimination

MATCH TIMES:

Senior Advanced 4 minutes. All other divisions will be 3 minutes.

RULES:

Current International Judo Federation (IJF) rules, as modified by USA Judo, including:

1) Kansetsu Waza prohibited in all Junior and adult Novice Divisions.

2) Shime Waza allowed in Junior advanced divisions for age 13 years and up and all Senior divisions.

CONCESSIONS :

Food and drinks will be available on site.

All competitors must bring their own white gi, white belt, and blue belt:

- First called competitor must wear white gi with WHITE belt.

- Second competitor MUST wear white gi with BLUE belt or blue gi

- NO EXCEPTIONS
