2024 Tap Cancer Out Detroit BJJ Open

ALL ATHLETES WILL SHOW AS "UNAPPROVED" UNTIL THEY ARRIVE ON SATURDAY AND CHECK-IN! If you've been loaded into Smoothcomp, that means we are expecting you to compete in this event. 

BRACKETS WILL NOT APPEAR UNTIL CREATED, WHICH IS ONLY RIGHT BEFORE WE DEPLOY THEM TO A RING. We do not disqualify for missing weight, so we are constantly moving competitors until the entire class (ex: all Blue Belt Adult Males) are accounted for. 

Registration is CLOSED. No further registrations will be accepted. 

Tap Cancer Out is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity organization founded in 2011 that unites the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community around a cause: ending cancer. We achieve this by hosting the most philanthropic BJJ tournaments in the world. All our proceeds are given to our beneficiary organizations, which has resulted in over $5,900,000 donated to our beneficiaries.

If you’ve never heard of our tournaments, they are one-of-a-kind, to say the least. Instead of just paying to compete, tournament competitors can compete for FREE by fundraising on behalf of Tap Cancer Out and our beneficiaries.
