Kelowna Winter Absolute

We are excited to announce our 2022 Kelowna Winter Absolute!

Thank you for considering us for your next competition. We will have certified referees at all our events to provide the best experience possible for our competitors. Come on out to Kelowna and enjoy an amazing weekend!

REFUND POLICY
We have the best refund policy. Get 100% refund for any reason until October 25th 2022. No refunds for any reason after this date. So register early as we will be capping this event and it will fill up. In the past we have let people register late but please understand we will not do that this time for any reason.

This is be a new experience to our event! Our main event Super fight between Harrison Woods and Filip Matos will take place Friday night (November 4th 2022) before our tournament. We will showcase some local talent on a stacked undercard starting at 7:00pm. Tickets for the Friday night event are $40.00 and will be on sale starting September 15th 2022. Very limited tickets available and will sell out. The Main tournament with the Absolute Belt and Weight as well as all the kids/adult divisions will take place Saturday Nov 5th 2022.

We have a block of rooms (November 4-6th) $109 Standard 2 queens or $119 with a kitchenette.

There is a grocery store and coffee shop located in the mall where the venue is located for your convenience.

On tournament Saturday we will be following the IBJJF rules set. Please visit IBJJF.org/rules and get familiar with rules that will pertain to your division.

WE HAVE ADJUSTED THE WEIGHT DIVISIONS SLIGHTLY TO ENSURE BIGGER DIVISIONS. THE BIGGEST CHANGE IS THE KIDS GI DIVISIONS WILL BE BOYS AND GIRLS TOGETHER

WE ALSO ADDED NO GI KIDS DIVISIONS!

TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE OCTOBER 31st 2022. Late registrations will not be accepted.

ALL COMPETITORS MUST BE ON WEIGHT OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. NO EXCEPTIONS!

It is your responsibility to weigh your child in WITH A GI ON and register them in the correct division (please do not guess your child's weight). Due to safety reasons for the children, their weight must be accurate with the gi.

COMPETITORS WHO DO NOT MAKE WEIGHT WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. Weigh is station will be open between 3:00pm and 5:00pm Friday November 4th 2022

Youth Divisions will have a 2 lb allowance

Adult Divisions will have a 1 lb allowance

This is a Gi and NOGI tournament.

Weigh in stations open:

Kids 8:00am (Saturday)

Adults: 10:30am (Saturday)

-All kids should be weighed in and ready to compete by 9:00am
