GJJL: BLUE/ PURPLE BELT GRAND PRIX AND WHITE BELT WARS

GJJL: Blue and Purple Belt Grand Prix operates through a single elimination bracket where brackets will be constructed through a randomized process. With limited weight classes, look for stacked divisions where the journey to being crowned Champion will be a treacherous one. This event is not for the faint of heart and strives to be a platform for some of Guam’s most aggressive competitors to put their skills to the test. Its the ultimate platform for both blue and purple belts to push themselves to their limits and beyond. 

White Belt Wars strives to give those who are fairly new in their Jiu Jitsu journey the opportunity to grow from a competitive standpoint as well as test their skills against white belts from other academies. White Belt Wars aims to provide a platform for white belts to develop the confidence and experience they willl need as they progress on their journey.

Event Format: Blue/ Purple Belt Grand Prix

Adult Male

Registered competitors will compete in their designated belt and weight class through a single elimination process. Respective champions of the 4 different weight classes for both blue and purple belt will be then be placed into a COMBINED absolute division to determine the competitor who will be crowned GJJL: Blue/ Purple Belt Grand Prix Absolute Champion.

Adult Female

Registered competitors will compete in their designated belt class (blue/ purple are combined) and weight class through a single elimination process.

Event Format: White Belt Wars

Adult Male

Registered competitors will compete in their designated belt and weight class through a single elimination process. Respective champions of the 4 different weight classes will be then be placed into a absolute division to determine the competitor who will be crowned GJJL: King White Belt.

Adult Female

Registered competitors will compete in their designated belt and weight class through a single elimination process.
