Mat Areas

2 mat areas will be used throughout the day. 

Weigh-in

Friday night 9th April from 5pm - 8pm at the venue. Draws to be completed immediately after weigh-in.
Weight-check for those who do not weigh in Friday will be on Saturday morning. Failure to make weight will lead to DSQ.

Weight-check from 8:00-8:30am.  
Weight-check from 10:00-10:30am - this is for Cadets, Junior Men and Women, Seniors and Veterans only.

9:00am - Queensland MONStar Championships
Junior Boys and Girls followed by
Senior Boys and Girls followed by
Teams (North Vs South) followed by
No Limits Divisions and Timing to be determined on the day.

Kata - Times to be decided

Medal Presentations to be after each division.

Gi Requirements

All players competing in the State Championship must as a minimum wear a white judogi. Blue judogis are compulsory for Cadets, Juniors, Seniors and Veterans. 

Notes

As per the Judo Queensland Sporting Code, mouth guards are permitted provided they are properly fitted by a dentist. Unfitted mouth guards shall not be permitted. The player must provide documentation prior to the competition to the Event Administrator at [email protected] and the player must also notify the mat Referee that they have a mouth guard each time they enters the mat to compete.
